Wi-Fi Connection Powers On - DS

For each of the three online games in the DS's library, there are 1 million people who have played online. That's right, the number of users who have gamed online with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is now over 3 million. In the US, half of Mario Kart DS owners have played online. Animal Crossing: Wild World has increased the user base too, selling over 1 million copies in Japan alone.

Since its launch on November 14 in the US, and later in the month in Australia, it has only taken two months for the connections to reach the 3 million mark. In comparison, Xbox Live took 18 months to reach the 1 million mark. Apparently it's easier in a hotspot than it is at home.
