RUMOUR: Pennant Chase on Revolution - Gamecube, Wii

 You may remember that a while back Nintendo revealed they were working on a licensed, realistic baseball game called Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball. A few months after release, it was surreptitiously removed from the release lists, and focus placed on Mario Superstar Baseball. Despite the obvious pulling power of Mario, Aussie-Nintendo have recently suggested that it could have been ported to the Revolution.

According to the site, a "source close to Nintendo" says that it's been bumped up a generation, to take advantage of the unique functions of the controller. After all, we did see a shot of someone swinging the controller baseball style in that Revolution preview vid.

The report suggests it would be a launch title. We'll have to wait and see.
