Boktai DS Can't See The Light - DS

Unlike the GBA entries in Hideo Kojima's series, the DS of Boktai will not feature a built-in solar sensor that will affect gameplay. Instead, a simulated solar cycle with rotate on the top screen, with the majority of gameplay occurring down below.

Screenshots from Koro Koro Comics magazine suggest a similar style and gameplay to the originals (aside from the sun mechanic). It's unknown whether the developers decided to remove the sensor deliberately and encorporate the second screen, or because of the technical difficulties of fitting a sensor to the DS cart or manufacturing one for the GBA slot. No word yet on a release date.
