DS Lite Colours Delayed - DS

Due to a manufacturing problem, the Ice Blue and Enamel Navy colours of the DS Lite will be release a week after the Crystal White version in Japan, on March 11. There have been no issues with the white colour.

There is a possibility that Nintendo may delay the white system in order to release all three colours simultaneously. Meanwhile, Nintendo Australia hasn't released any word on a date, nor Nintendo of America. Some suspect a May release in time with New Super Mario Bros. will be in order. In the US, the DS classic will be phased out, with the Lite being the only version available. Such an anticipated title as a brand new side-scrolling Mario adventure would be an enormous system-seller. It's a pity that they're delayed, as the Enamel Navy is probably the damn sexiest Nintendo product we've ever seen.
