RUMOUR: NiGHTS Sequel To Rev? - Wii

 The latest Famitsu issue has suggested that Sega Saturn smash hit NiGHTS Into Dreams may soar onto the Revolution. According to messageboard (Neo)GAF, Famitsu has a small aside about the development of a long-awaited follow up to the critically acclaimed title. This is less a rumour and more a taste of what's to come, as the next issue of Famitsu will apparently blow the lid off several Revolution titles.

If you don't remember NiGHTS, or have never heard of it, it was developed by Yuji Naka, the creator of a little franchise you know of: Sonic The Hedgehog. The title featured extensive use of the Sega Saturn's post-release analogue controller (which came about as a response to the N64's control stick). The graceful flying mechanics this allowed were heralded as one of the greatest achievements on the Saturn.

NiGHTS has since been one of Naka's most requested sequels, and it seems the blend of Revolution controller with the gameplay would make the system a great place to continue the series. Hey, wait...we could even see the original in the Virtual Console, couldn't we? As always, we'll keep you posted.
