RUMOUR: Wii Collecting - Wii
10th May 2006, 1:44am

The poster says that the Nintendo rep answered a question about the state of the system's development by saying 'Yeah, [the Wiis have] been complete for a while. They're stockpiling them in the warehouse.' The two men then asked for clarification and was told that units set for retail are already being boxed and stored, and that Nintendo was waiting until Sony announces the PS3 date before pre-empting them.
My official Gamebiz take on this is that it's complete rubbish. Development studios haven't even got full dev kits yet, with the full builds set to hit in June or July, according to an official Nintendo source, Reggie Fils-Aime. How could they then be packaging the full systems? Ignore it, I say.
