Wiimote Mic - Wii

Many of us assume that with the in-built speaker of the Wiimote, a microphone is pretty much a shoe-in too. Afer all, Nintendo has still said that there are more hardware secrets to be revealed, much like how we learnt that the DS had two screens, and only discovered one was a touchscreen several months later.

The latest support for this theory (besides their back history with microphone projects, from Hey You, Pikachu! on N64 to the Gamecube's Mario Party titles and the recent/upcoming Odama), is this website. WiiKaraoke.com has been registered by Nintendo, and takes you back to their American homepage. With their approach to take over the non-gamer marketplace, karaoke seems like a pretty sensible move.
