Sorry everyone, but I couldn't resist the news title. Many of us have been wondering what the Japanese think of the Wii. Famitsu.com conducted a post-E3 survey on the show.

Four questions were asked. The first asked which console they found most interesting, to which 68.8% said Wii, 21% said PS3, 7.2% said Xbox 360 and 3% said Wii. That's out of 294 people, by the way, and all hardware from this generation and next was included as options. The second question said which did they expect to take out the next generation battle, 73% said Wii, 22% said PS3 and Xbox 360 getting just 4.4% of votes.

The next question was on the PS3's price - the base model is 62,790 yen (the original PS2 was just 37,800 on launch). Just like the West, 88.4% said it was too, high, while 10.9% said it was reasonable and two hilarious people (0.7%) said it was too low. Famitsu then asked how much they though the Wii would cost. 53.6% of the vote was for 25,000 yen, which is the same price every single one of their home consoles has launched at since the Super Famicom. 30,000 yen was second most popular, with 35,000 and 20,000 tying for third place.

The most popular game of E3? Zelda: Twilight Princess (the Wii version) was most popular, with Final Fantasy XIII (PS3), Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3), Smash Brothers X (aka SSB: Brawl, Wii), Dragon Quest Sword (Wii), Super Mario Galaxy (Wii), Final Fantasy III (DS), Monster Hunter 3 (PS3), Resident Evil (Wii) and Halo 3 (Xbox 360) following after.
