VC Prices - Wii

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told guests at a marketing event that a price between 500 and 1,000 yen (that's $6 to $12) for games on the VC could be the go. This applies to both classic titles and the low-budget, freelance games we've been hearing so much about.

Iwata also took the time to reveal that production of the DS Lite will ramp up by 500,000 units per month, to between 2 and 2.2 million. In the region, ten games have broken the million-seller mark, of which Animal Crossing: Wild World is king, with ownership by 32% of Japanese DS owners.
