New Super Mario Bros. was top of the charts of both highest selling console and handheld games during May in the US. It's a similar scenario in Japan, where both critics and fans have received the game well.

Meanwhile, Brain Age reached number 15 on the chart. The GBA sold 158,000 systems in the month - 11,000 more than the DS at 147,000. The release of the DS Lite should boost those sales during June. The PS2 sold 232,000 units.
