Kutaragi Defends PS3 Price - PS3

Impress PC Watch - a Japanese news site - recently put up an interview with the head of SCE, Ken Kutaragi. The most interesting quote was:

'The business model changes with the PS3. The PlayStation has become a computer and since you cannot raise the price of the software, you have to make a profit with the hardware,' said Kutaragi.

He also repeated that the cost must be high enough to balance losses taken on the Blu-Ray technology.
