Nintendo AIDS Research Benefit - DS

 The good folks at Nintendo America donated DS Lites and copies of New Super Mario Bros. to children at the recent 'A Time for Heroes Carnival', which had the aim of raising money for AIDS research. Celebrities and kids played together on the systems.

'Nintendo has a long tradition of making the lives of kids brighter,' George Harrison (Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications) said. '...and our participation in this event underscores our commitment to the community.'

They aim to raise over US$1 million.
