Time Mag Names Lite "Gadget of Week" - DS

The DS Lite and Touch Generations titles were aimed at attracting non-gamers and mainstream media. It seems to be working. Time Magazine just named the Lite as their 'Gadget of the Week.'

The article focused on the wide variety of genres available from the system, particularly 'non-games' like Nintendogs and Brain Training. The also commented that the new look makes it less like a toy and more like a slick gadget. Previous winners of the 'Game of the Week' include Toshiba's new HD-DVD player and the T-Mobile Sidekick.
