Australian PS3 Price

The official PS3 website is now live, and it includes the official Australian RRP and date for the PS3. In case your brain has imploded, let us refresh your memory. There will be two configurations available:

• AUD$999 for the 60gb model
• AUD$829 for the 20gb model

The 60gb version will include a few extras such as Compact Flash, SD and Memory Stick Duo slots, wireless networking and a HDMI connection (for compatible HDTV's).

All versions will include Gigabyte network card, Bluetooth wireless controllers, HDTV resolutions up to 1080i/p and support for Blu-ray movies and game discs, as well as standard DVD and CD formats.

Release is still slated for November 17th here in Australia. You can find further information on the European / Australian release as it becomes available on the official Playstation 3 website
