Americans Name Sony Their Favourite Brand - PS2, PSP, PS3

For the seventh year in a row, Americans named Sony the 'best brand' in a survey by Harris Interactive. Microsoft tied for tenth last year, but this year didn't make the charts, while Nintendo has never even made the list. Electronics brands compose five of the top ten.

Dell was runner up, while Coca-Cola was third. Toyota, Ford and Honda were next, while the only newcomer was Apple at number nine. Sony has dominated since in the survey since it began in 1995, having never finished lower than third. Ford and General Electric are the only other names to make the cut each year.
