EA's Wii Stance - Wii

Little had been heard about EA's involvement with the Wii prior to E3, but now, after they revealed several projects in the works, things seem a little different. Apparently, the company's interest in the system risen considerably. The Vice President of Corporate Communications for the company, Jeff Brown, admitted that EA couldn't support all consoles equally.

'I don't want to be indiscreet, but the truth is EA is most committed to the platform with the biggest installed base. We've always been very practical and open about the fact that this is a business...' he revealed.

He did note that'...everybody's saying that the Nintendo Wii is so unique that it's going to be the second system people buy...if you're second on everybody's system, you're first overall.'
