The president and CEO of THQ, Brian Farrell, recently spoke to Eurogamer about their efforts on the Wii console. Farrell told them that they'd be supporting the system from the start, pointing to its simple interface as a major factor of their involvement. The company has supported Nintendo for a while, providing many licensed products for their handheld systems.

'We love the Wii - it's all about having fun, right? Games are about having fun and sometimes this industry takes itself a bit too seriously,' Farrell commented. 'If you watch people with that Wii controller, it's just fun to play with.'

The company has already revealed that Cars, SpongeBob SquarePants and Avatar: The Last Airbender games are in the works, while on other platforms they are working on Saint's Row, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Company of Heroes. It's would be worthwhile staying tuned, because I'd say the odds they reveal more games for the system are relatively good.
