A bunch of screenshots from the EA's upcoming Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. The game will allow you to challenge players worldwide via the exclusive PGA TOUR ® mode, which includes training sessions, practice, and play in the FedEx Cup - the new PGA Tour championship playoff system.

Improve your skills in training, and then play as or against 11 official players over 12 courses in tour mode. Tiger Woods 07 boasts improved visual effects, and EA's Game Face technology. This is said to improve player's movements, camera movements and other improvements.

Some of the main features are:

  • For the PSP version - mini-games, including Shooting Gallery, or Putting Frenzy. Great for small sessions on the go.
  • Shot enhancements, including Swing Path Meter which gives you shot type and accuracy. A new 'Power Boost' also gives more options when taking a long putt.
  • Improved lighting, texturing, camera angles, and mapping
  • 11 of the world's top players, including of course the Golf God - Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Luke Donald, John Daly and Ian Poulter.
  • 12 championship and fantasy courses. Bethpage Black, Pinhurst No. 2, Cog Hill, Pasatiempo and Fancourt Links are now included.
  • EPSN integration online - get the latest golf scores and news from EPSN online.
  • Commentary by David Feherty and Gary McCord throughout the game.

Tiger woods PGA Tour 07 will be released shortly for PC, PSP, Playstation 2, Xbox, Xbox360. When released, the game will also be available for Playstation 3. ETA for release is currently 28th September 2006 here in Australia. Looking good for the golf or sports fanatic.

Sliced Comments: Even though I'm not a huge golf fan, golfing games have always been great console entertainment with a few mates and a few beers. Worth giving Tiger Woods 07 a look when it's released.
