Timeshift Acquires Hollywood Voice Talent - PC, Xbox 360

Dennis Quaid, Nick Chinlund and Michael Ironside have lent their voices to upcoming shooter Timeshift. Voices are said to add a great new feel to earlier preview copies of the game, which used lesser known vocals.

The game will offer an innovative time-control technology which will allow players to manipulate time itself. Playing as Colonel Michael Swift you'll be able to stop, slow or reverse time at certain parts of the game to get past certain areas or tricky situations.

Michael Swift voice's will be played by Hollywood star Dennis Quaid (In Good Company, The Day After Tomorrow, Traffic, etc). Nick Chinlund (Con Air, Training Day, Chronicles of Riddick) will voice General Mitchell, a military overseer for Project Timeshift. Michael Ironside (Starship Troopers, Total Recall, Top Gun) will play the voice of Professor Krone.

From the press release: "In the game, players assume the role of recently retired test pilot Colonel Michael Swift, a man haunted by the tragic loss of his daughter. Driven to escape his misery, Swift accepts a unique offer from the US Government to test an experimental set of time-control devices and become the world's first 'chrononaut.' During the tests, he inadvertently alters time and returns to a present changed beyond recognition. The democracy he left has become a fascist nightmare – and his knowledge of his time travel saga has made him an enemy of the state. Armed with the time-shifting Quantum Suit, Swift is now in the deadly race to fix the past, present and future. "
