Introducing the E3 Media Festival
2nd August 2006, 12:04pm

We also have the first few official responses from developers, including the big N and surprisingly enough, EA. Nintendo UK PR manager spoke to the gaming business website GamesIndustry, saying that 'Nintendo will be involved in the E3 expo next year'. As of yet, none of the other platform companies (Sony and Microsoft) have confirmed or denied any appearance at future shows.
Despite the many rumours floating around that EA were responsible for the 'toning down' of E3, they have given their full support to the show's new format. Other unnamed members of the gaming community have also tentatively demonstrated their support for the show, stating that shows such as the large Leipzig show are more than enough.
