F.E.A.R Combat to be released for free download - PC

Jumping 8 days on their own countdown timer, Sierra has provided some news on F.E.A.R Combat, mentioned by us previously. The game will be released totally free as a download on 18th August 2006 and include all current maps, add-ons, and patches.

Users will not require the full copy of the game, and will be able to play other players who have purchased the full retail version of the initial F.E.A.R game, or other F.E.A.R Combat users.

It will include:

• 10 Multiplayer Game modes.
  
• 19 Multiplayer Maps.
  
• 12 different weapons.
  
• Punkbuster support for anti-cheat support.
  
• Download user generated content
