Metal Slug Anthology comes to PSP - PSP

 SNK Playmore has announced a European release for the Metal Slug Anthology on PSP for Spring 2006 here in Australia (Autumn 2006 in Europe). Metal Slug was initially released on the Neo Geo MVS arcade in 1996, and went on to become one of the most popular arcade franchises, combining fast action 2D and quality graphics.

The anthology will contain, all in one disc :
  • Metal Slug
  • Metal Slug 2
  • Metal Slug X
  • Metal Slug 3
  • Metal Slug 4
  • Metal Slug 5
The games will be exact arcade translations, and include 2 player co-operative play via wireless, widescreen and original screen formats, unlockable items, and bonus galleries containing character art and other Metal Slug information. One to look out for old school shoot-em-up fans.
