No HD-DVD games for the Xbox 360 - Xbox 360

 In recent postings from Microsoft, it appears that the soon to be released HD-DVD player for the Xbox 360 will only be used for HD movies, and there will be no HD-DVD games released in the foreseeable future. Microsoft believes that there is no games that would justify the release on HD-DVD, when most next-gen games fit well within the DVD9 format (8.54gb).

Sliced Comments: We can't also see any compelling reason to release games on HD-DVD format, and force on gamers another expensive upgrade for their 360. The same could be said for Blu-Ray in the Playstation 3, except consumers do not have the choice on opting out of the expensive Blu-Ray format.
