Melbourne Cup Challenge comes October - Xbox, PS2, PC

Just in time for this year's Melbourne Cup, comes an interesting title - Melbourne Cup Challenge. The game will be released on 26th October for Xbox, Playstation 2 and PC. Some of the features of the game include:

• Official licenses including the Melbourne Cup, Flemington Race Course, Classic Caufield, The Caulfield Cup, Royal Ascot Race Course, and real name jockeys.
• Multiplayer for all platforms, allowing online play against up to 8 people.
• Game modes including Season, Jockey Challenge, Betting Party, and Simulation
• A full season mode including auctions, horse breeding, training, personnel hire, and stable management
• Detailed graphics including horses and jockeys, weather, and acurately modelled race courses
• Live race commentary from Sky Channel's Matthew Hill
• Realistic horse and jockey animation, motion captured by Weta Digital (Lord of the Rings trilogy)

The game should prove an interesting one for Horse Racing Fans or those just looking for something a little different. As you can see from the screenshots, the game should be quite visually appealing and authentically capture the feel of classic horse racing. The game will later be released in Europe as Frankie Dettori Racing.
