These figures have been floating around for a while, and look pretty accurate based on overseas counterparts and previous prices in the Australian marketplace. Some are officially confirmed, others aren't.
  • Wii Console: $399.95 - OFFICIAL
  • Wii-mote: $69.95
  • Wii Play Games Pack: $79.95
  • Classic Controller: $29.95
  • Nunchuk: $29.95
  • 2000 Wii Points card (online/retail): $29.95
The Wii Play Games Pack is a compilation of at about ten small demo games seen at trade shows, like Pool and Ping Pong. The pack contains one extra Wii-mote, too. Apparently, 500 Wii points ($7.50) will get you one Commodore 64 or NES game, while 800 Wii points ($12) will be required to buy one MSX arcade system, Sega Mega Drive, SNES or Turbo Grafx16 game. Finally, 1,000 Wii points ($15) will net you one N64 game. These prices are what I expected for the Australian marketplace, but that doesn't mean they couldn't be cheaper.
