Free open beta trial for Phantasy Star Universe - Xbox 360

The latest installment in the Phantasy Star series is almost here, and Sega want to give you a taste of it: today, they announced that a free open beta multiplayer trial would be appearing on Xbox Live for the Xbox 360. You better get in quick though: the download window will only be open till the 15th of October, and the trial itself will finish shortly after on the 18th. This trial is open only to those with Xbox Live Gold memberships.

Players can expect the full version of the title to be released on November 24th. Coinciding with the launch is the introduction of 'GUARDIANS' licences, which expand the single player game into mulitplayer, giving you the ability to forge alliances with other players, as well as a whole bunch of customisation options.
