Xbox Live Movie Downloads get swamped - Xbox 360

Some teething problems with the first week of the Xbox Live Movie Marketplace download service. In the first week, servers in the US have had trouble coping, with users reporting random dropouts during large downloads, or very slow transfers.
Some of the content requires the use of Xbox Live points, which has meant that the only way to download the content after a couple of tries is by attempting to call Xbox Live Support and getting the points refunded.
Some of the problem may be related to the release of new HD movies on the service, which can be up to 6gb in size.
Sliced Comments: This looks like some good news in a way for Microsoft, that the service has been so successful that they have been unable to cope with the demand. Being able to download HD trailers, and movies is a great new feature for Live. It's just unfortunate we still don't get yet the feature here in Australia. Need we need to even say it's a shame most ISP's don't offer the download limits the US does, which may make such a service difficult here. We can only wait and see.
