News Channel Hits This Saturday - Wii

Nintendo issued a little reminder today that a system update will go live this Saturday to install the News Channel in your Wiis. With information supplied by Associated Press, the News Channel will constantly update with new headlines as things break. Although it’s still a little hazy as to how it will be presented, if it’s anything like the Forecast Channel that hit last month, we can expect to see headlines on the actual channel screen – without even loading it up completely.

It’s only two days away, so contain your excitement.
