Rockstar Already Defending Manhunt 2 - PS2, PSP, Wii

No details, no screenshots, no solid release date, yet Rockstar is already defending Manhunt 2.

Speaking to mcvuk.com, Rockstar have defended the upcoming sequel in the controversial series, saying that "We believe Manhunt 2 is a great entertainment experience for fans of psychological thrillers and urban horror".

Rockstar also strongly believes the title will receive an 18+ rating: should that be the case, we will probably never see the game on our shores, thanks to our puzzling lack of an R18+ rating for games.

"We respect those who have different opinions about the horror genre and video games as a whole, but we hope they will also consider the opinions of gamers. The stories in modern video games are as diverse as the stories in books, film and television."

Good points there. Here's hoping the OFLC is listening.
