Quake Wars to Appear on Next-Gen Consoles - PS3, Xbox 360, PC

id Software have today confirmed that the upcoming title 'Enemy Territory: Quake Wars' will be appearing on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The three versions (don't forget the PC version) are being developed by three different teams: Splash Damage is doing the PC version (the developers behind the acclaimed 'Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory'), Nerve Software is doing the Xbox 360 version (the team behind DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil for PC and Xbox) and Z-Axis is doing the PlayStation 3 version (probably most [in]famous for the Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX series (including BMX XXX)).

"We're pleased to be working with Nerve and Z-Axis to bring the highly-anticipated gameplay from Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars to the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 system," said Todd Hollenshead, CEO, id Software.
