Sony UK Sales Boss Resigns - PS3

In some rather unexpected news, the head of Sony's sales department, Kevin Jowett, has resigned from the company, just weeks before the launch the PlayStation 3 in Europe.

Jowett, who has been sales director for almost 19 years, resigned to pursue interests "outside of gaming". Interestingly, his resignation was immediate, with "confidentiality issues" cited as the reason for the speed of his resignation.
