MySims Revealed for the Wii - Wii

Remember the news we posted about the possibility of a new Sims game for the Wii? If not, here's a refresher. Anyhoo, we can now confirm that this is the new Sims title for the Wii.

Going under the name of 'MySims', this brand new version will alter the mechanics we've all come to know and love from the previous incarnations. For a start, the graphics now resemble a cross between the N64/GameCube sim 'Animal Crossing' and the Mii's: very cute and charming. Based on the screenshots on the site, the Wii Remote will be fully used in order to play the game, which should be interesting.

Currently, there's no solid release date, or news of a PAL release at all for that matter. There's a trailer on the site, but it appears to be the same one linked in our previous news story.

The Slice: Personally, I like this new direction. It shows that EA is attempting to do something new with the franchise, rather than just simply port it. It's very cute 'n' cuddly, probably to the same extent that Animal Crossing was. It'll be interesting to see what other details are revealed.
