SimCity DS Announced - DS

EA has announced that its much-loved franchise 'SimCity' will be winging its way over to the DS with a brand new version of the infectious sim.
Titled 'SimCity DS' (well, duh), the pint-sized version will employ the DS' hardware features to extend the game beyond the scope seen on the PC versions. For example, it has been revealed that you'll be able to blow into the microphone to put out fires, as well as use the stylus to sign off mayoral documents.
The game will also allow you to communicate with other Sim-er's, but no details have been revealed concerning what you actually do with the connectivity. Finally, a whole bunch of worldwide landmarks will be avaliable for you to use in your cities.
SimCity DS is due for a worldwide release in summer (which, I assume, means winter for us). In the meantime, enjoy the single, lonely screenshot that EA bundled with the press release.
