Downtime Coming for Xbox Live - Xbox 360
24th March 2007, 10:26pm
Microsoft have announced that the Xbox Live service will experience downtime for 14 hours next week while maitenance is carried out on the system.
The downtime will commence on March 27th and will not bring with it new features to the service: rather, Microsoft have said that it's merely going to be "upgrades to the service".
This news comes days after reports of an attempted hi-jack of the service, which Microsoft firmly denied, palming the reports off as "isolated incidents". Whether or not this upgrade relates to the security of the service is unknown (and will probably remain so).
