Gear up, time for Annex. - Xbox 360

Just a friendly reminder to all our readers that the Annex mode patch will be available to gamers some time this evening.

Annex mode is a king of the hill type of gameplay where you must take control of a circular area no bigger than four meters in diameter, and hold it for as long as you can while you accumulate points.

The amount of points to win a round can be configured in the options, and gamers are happy to embrace being able to re-spawn in one of, if not the biggest Xbox 360 game on Xbox Live.

There are no new achievements to unlock for the new game mode though, so there's no reason to play ranked matches, unless you have some other achievements still to unlock.
