Downhill Jam PS2 Info and Screens - PS2

The Wii launch title is now coming to the PS2, with a few new features to boot! The PS2 will be getting the extreme speed of downhill racing as players enter high-speed competitions down the steepest hills in the world, from the rocky terrain of Machu Picchu to the busy streets of San Francisco, and other amazing real world courses. Gamers will feel the adrenaline rush as they do whatever it takes to get ahead, speeding down crowded pathways, pulling off high-velocity tricks and battling opponents to the finish line in some of the most thrilling landscapes and environments.
New to the PS2 build are three more multiplayer game modes. Players can go head-to-head with friends in Race, Trick Attack and Slalom modes from the original, as well as try new PlayStation 2-only challenges such as Airtime, Mayhem or Yard Sale. And when you're playing, you'll be able to pick from three more characters than before, or even use the Create-A-Skater feature to create their own lightening-fast racing character. Also coming to the game are 10 new events, letting skaters compete in more than 100 events overall across eight challenging environments. Prepare to crouch for more speed, jump or grind over obstacles and pull off all of the favourite air tricks to gain boosts and race past the competition.
We’ve got eleven brand spanking new screenshots for you. Look for this one when it hits the system in Autumn 2007, for a recommended retail price of $49.95.
