...And The Xbox 360 Won't be Outdone Either? - Xbox 360

Well, it appears that Microsoft also doesn't want to be outdone either. An analyst report by Morgan Stanley suggest an announcement regarding the the 360 will also be dropped at the start of E3.
Suggested pricing is: Core - $249USD (down from $299), Premium - $349USD (from $399), Elite - $399USD (from $479).
For Australians, on direct conversion this gives $296AUD, $415AUD, and $475AUD respectively. Going on a current price of the Xbox 360 here, you'd expect to add $50-90 on those prices here.
No real confirmation at the moment from Microsoft, but E3 starts tomorrow.
Update: Turns out this was only a rumour. No price drop was announced at E3, and Microsoft has denied they will do so in the close future.
