Microsoft has announced that two of its flagship titles are heading over to PC. The first is the epic FPS Gears of War, developed by Epic Studios. The PC version will include some new content, including three new multiplayer maps, an editor, five new campain chapters and a new multiplayer game type. As well as this, Gears of War will take advantage of DirectX 10, if you're running on Vista.

The second title is Rare's quirky Viva Pinata. Development of the PC version has passed over to Climax Group, developers of MotoGP series of games. This marks the first time (to my recollection) that a Rare developed title has been ported over to the PC format. Not much has been announced about the PC version, apart from the confirmation that all the features of the 360 version will appear in this new version.

Both these titles will be avaliable for Vista and Windows XP, ensuring that no-one misses out (unless you're running ME or something).
