Strangehold Website and Screens - Xbox 360, PC, PS3

Midway has just released the official Strangehold website at http://www.strangehold.com/, which contains screens, videos and other information on the game. You'll need to click on the US flag link for the moment, as the others seem to still be under construction.

Strangehold is action shooter being developed in conjunction with John Woo's Tiger Hill Entertainment. It has you playing Chow Yun-Fat's character, Inspector Tequila in the movie "Hard Boiled". Trapped between his loyalty to the job and revenge, you undertake dramatic gun battles and participate in over the top action sequences.

Strangehold is based on a revised version of the Unreal 3 engine, and also features the Havok physics engine. Action takes place across Chicago and Hong Kong.

The game will be released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in August 2007. An "SE" version of the game will be exclusive to PS3, featuring a number of extra features.

Sliced Gaming: The violence is exquisite, and the environments and detail look pretty great too. One for those that like their action violent.
