New PSP Release Date Announced - PSP
18th July 2007, 2:45am

Following on from the news that Sony was releasing a revised version of the PSP in September, an actual date has been confirmed by the company, with Japan receiving the new PSP on September 20th.
Following in the footsteps of Nintendo and their handhelds, Sony is releasing the new PSP with a choice of 6 colours: Ceramic White, Felicia Blue, Ice Silver, Piano Black and Rose Pink. Combine that with the fact that it'll be over 30% lighter, nearly 20% slimmer and the improved loading times and you have a winning combination that may give Sony some headway in the portable gaming industry.
As well as this, Sony has promised that different regions will get special edition versions of the console. Stay tuned for more.
