Xbox 360 dropped by $50 in the US - Xbox 360

While there were rumours just before E3 that the price of the 360 would be dropping, it has finally come to fruition. Microsoft on their official gaming blog, has posted a release, stating that the official RRP price of the Xbox 360 in the US will drop by $50USD this Wednesday.
This puts the Premium at $350USD (~$415AUD),Elite at $450USD ($535AUD), and Core at $280USD (~$333AUD). The special Halo 3 edition console, which ships with a play and charge kit, wireless headset, as well as special green and gold finish, will be retail for $400USD (~$476AUD)
Sliced Comments: Good news for Americans, however it has already been stated that PAL regions are not set for a price drop anytime soon.
