Wind Waker Link Confirmed for Brawl? -

In Part 5 of the Iwata interview on Wii.com today, Sakurai revealed that he lifted character models right out of Wind Waker for use in Brawl.

Take The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess from the Zelda series for example. We were able to design the Smash Bros. characters by adapting them just as they were modeled for the original titles.

Confirmation of WW Link replacing Young Link in Brawl?

Nope. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess models have been revealed in the past. The Link available now is lifted directly, for example.

The chances of WW Link actually replacing Young Link in the retail version? About fifty in one. We'll know for sure when the game is released in Japan in a few days.

Unless you want to avoid spoilers until the unannounced PAL release, in which case, shut down your computer and get off the internet!
