Update: EA Offers Refund for MoH Wii - Wii
As we reported earlier, the online functions of Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 were suspiciously absent from the Australian edition of the game, release just last Thursday. The resultant reaction from Australian fans would be rather kindly described as a "general hubbub", and less kindly described as "fucking outrage".
The good news is that EA has stepped up, apologised to gamers, and will offer a full refund to anyone who purchased the game and feels ripped off by their marketing, which prominently included mention of the online capabilties that players in the US are enjoying as we speak. EA let us know that all customers have to do is return the game, with its receipt, to the retailer where they purchased it.
Australian distributors of Wii titles have been having a rough time of it lately, with the mono sound of Activision's Guitar Hero III causing an international outcry, and the Nintendo's inability to give anyone a solid date on most exciting upcoming titles depressing even the most optimistic of Wii owners.

Ah, I assumed this was an entirely new article given the "Update:" at the start of the title.
I emailed EA after moody's post, then changed it when i got an answer.
Amazingly, that's what the news article says too!
Yes, that's what I just read elsewhere.. return to place of purchase with receipt.
