Bioshock 2 Announced - Xbox 360, PC
12th March 2008, 11:55am
Kotaku is reporting that Take-Two Interactive has confirmed the development of Bioshock 2 for Xbox 360 and PC. It's hardly a surprise, considering the high regard with which its predecessor was, and is regarded. Rumour has it that the game may be a prequel to the events of the first title. That's alternate endings for you - always screwing up your sequel. It's being developed by the new 2K Marin studio, and looks to be heading for a fourth-quarter fiscal 2009 release date - in other words, before October 31st 2009.
Happy waiting.

I heard it may be called GeoShock.
Batman knows where it's at. If only I could get it running on XP...
EA is also working on a sequel to System Shock, since they own the rights to it. Fucking EA. Leave the series dead for years until the original lead makes his own sequel without you, and then you go and cash in on his hard work with your ill gotten gains.

Eh Bioshock was wellll overrated if you ask me. Fun for a while, but I can't even look at the damn thing anymore. The second half of that game was a chore.
