Viva Pinata 2 Kinda Announced, Details Revealed - Xbox 360

Some people loved those adorable Pinatas, and good on 'em. Despite the rather lacklustre sales of the original Xbox 360 version, Rare has seen fit to create a sequel, currently titled "Viva Pinata 2: Trouble in Paradise". Score one for the naming department for originality.

Anyhoo, details on VP2 are somewhat sketchy, but Game Informer has revealed that the game will feature a 'drop in/out co-op mode', hopefully to the same effect as the Lego Star Wars games. Aside from that, most of the announced features seem to be improvements upon the original game, rather than anything incredibly major.

• 30 new Pinatas
• A photo mode, where you can take photos of your Pinatas and upload them
• Better interactivity between the Pinatas and their environments
• Toys for the Pinatas to play with
• 2 new sub areas: Pinartic and Dessert. You'll be given the ability to travel to new locations and lay traps (you monster)
• Improved interface
