Gotham City Imposters Unveiled
PC, Xbox 360, PS3

I doubt many saw this coming: Warner Bros. Interactive have announced that a new Batman game is in the works. Developed by Monolith Products, Gotham City Imposters is a multiplayer (wait, what), first-person shooter (huh?) set in a Gotham City that's overrun by Batman and Joker imposters (!!?).
Yes, it sounds a bit odd, but there might be a bit of interesting substance behind this. Kotaku had a hands-on with the game, describing it as "Team Fortress meets Batman: Arkham Asylum", which can only be a good thing.
"The concept, as shown during a cartoon shown during today's presentation, is that Gotham is filled with a lot of disgruntled citizens who have decided to put on a Batman cowl of their own and take out a rising crowd of Jester-themed baddies."
You can read the rest of their impression here. I'll be honest: it sounds kind of cool. Gotham City Imposters currently has no release date, but will be available on PC, XBL and PSN.
