Hope you get to play as Bruce in his manor. That would be sah-weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Cruise down to the cave to shoot out in your batmobile into gotham to cause more havoc.. Ohhhhh it's gotta happen sooner or later.

I love a game where you can go back to base to chill. Assassin's Creed does it, Alpha Protocol... Fallout, Elder Scrolls, any MMO.. Love it.

You should give Overlord or Neverwinter Nights II a crack - both give you a massive castle you have to rebuild and shape the way you want

Yeah Overlord was good. Brotherhood gives you the city of ROME to rebuild.

I think on a first go-round, Ass Creed 2 is better, but Brotherhood makes a lot of awesome improvements. No game has better combat, I'm calling it. If you learn all the tricks, there is no limit to the people you can kill. It's really quite impressive. I don't know how they'll make another game where you're an amateur assassin, though.
