Today's release about More Brain Training also revealed a few Australian-based sales figures. For starters, Nintendo Australia has sold through 550,000 DS units down under, which is pretty damn respectable. We contacted GfK, and they were able to tell us that the proportion of Classic DSs to DS Lites is 49% to 51% respectively. In other words, about 269,500 Classics to 280,500 Lites.
Even more impressively, they've sold through over 400,000 Touch! Generations titles, which my grade four maths tells me is a 73% system attachment rate. Pretty damn substantial. For the record, the Touch! Generations games include Brain Training, Big Brain Academy, Nintendogs and Clubhouse Games.
