Yeah. Japan loves the DS. They really like it a lot. A ridiculous amount, really. Way too much than most other people. Maybe because it's shiny. I'm always shocked to see how little we Australians buy. Only about 800,000 classic Xboxes, for example. Anyhow, here are the Media Create numbers for August 21-27. They speak for themselves:

1. Final Fantasy III (DS) - 503,051
2. New Super Mario Bros. (DS) - 65,5537
3. Rune Factory (DS) - 42,210
4. Brain Training 2 (DS) - 41,784
5. Cooking Navigator (DS) - 37,326
6. Tamagotchi no Puchu Puchi O-Misecchi (DS) - 30,504
7. Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (DS) - 30,355
8. Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS) - 30,023
9. Brain Training (DS) - 22,866
10. Brain Training English Training (DS) - 17,465

1. DS Lite - 163,247
2. PSP - 29,945
3. PlayStation 2 - 21,829
4. GBA SP - 2,719
5. GB Micro - 1,819
6. Xbox 360 - 1,197
7. GameCube - 837
8. Nintendo DS - 410
9. GBA - 14
10. Xbox - 12

Heh. Great GBA and Xbox numbers. Anyhow, the top ten titles for Japan were all DS games. Scary, isn't it?
