Everyone accepted that the control of Red Steel for Wii was underwhelming at this year's E3 - hardly the intuitive control we expected. Go Nintendo has got a hold of excerpts from the latest Game Infomer print, and since the mag announced the title in the first place, it seems like a trustworthy source.

The mag recently had hands-on time with a new build of the game, which addressed these issues. The problem with the E3 build was that your hand movements didn't directly translate to the movement of your character's arm on screen - you had to perform certain actions to get a specific attack, and they were often unrelated.

Game Informer apparently writes that 'Not only did the remote replicate our actual sword-slashes, but the [recently] unveiled motion sensor in the nunchuck could be thrust [forward] for parry attacks.'

This is great news.
